Stepping Stones Child Care Inc.
Toddler Progam
We believe that all children learn at their own pace and learn differently through various activities and situations.
Our curriculum is a play-based learning style. We provide the toddlers with a safe, secure, and loving environment for them to explore and be engaged in.
As toddlers grow and development, the teachers in the program start trying to implement a daily schedule with them. This includes having scheduled meal times, outside time, one nap a day (after lunch), etc.
Meal times are served as follows:
Breakfast: 8:00 to 8:30
Lunch: 11:00 to 11:30
PM Snack: 2:00 to 2:30
Lesson Plans
Our teachers use the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and their knowledge of child devleopment to create each lesson plan.
Each lesson plan includes activities that are provided to help children reach or work towards a specific developmental goal.
Children in the toddler program receive a mixture of free play and structured time.
Children do go outside on a daily basis (weather permitting). Our restrictions include feels like below 20 degrees and feels like above 90 degrees that they can not go outside.
